powering a car amp & sub with computer psu

Recommended Posts

i know it sounds retarded and incredibly unsafe but i'm not expecting to preserve anything and am bored out of my mind. Just had some parts laying around for a while and wanted tried this

anyways i tested the power supply first and it worked fine, did everything per instructions, plugged it in and nothing happened. Unplugged everything and power supply won't turn on anymore. Was a 375w psu trying to power a 250w amp, afaik the amperage was fine, but that doesn't change the fact that it's now dead. Not sure if the amp is OK but won't know till I get it powered up again. Is there any better but inexpensive way to do this ?

yelling AAAA really straings the voice, and the tiny h really represents the struggle and hardship a vocal chord must endure for yelling AAAA
