hrmm...I wonder if he ever records songs like this and then just pushes the tempo up until it sounds right...The song still sounds cool slow a little more bonerific if you ask me. Like you could actually bang to it now.

Analord and The Tuss are perfect for slow downs. I personally prefer Rushup I Bank 12 slowed.

It's hard to decipher because of the filtering.

i have quite i lot of good old warp and rephlex on 12" and i don't think i have played them at a slow speed. this sound very nice indeed. though i did play global goon and analord 1 on fast for a long time because i thought that was the right speed. global goon still sound funny today.

can anyone recommend and downtempo tracks?

if I understand right you mean tracks than can be heard on a slower rate?
