oh this sounds much better than his recent releases. reminds me very much of Thé Au Harem D'Archimède which is brilliant even by todays standarts

He has definitely created his own sound and this sounds great.

Bastard follows his own rules.

Hope this unknown track from YT will see a light among this. A bit glitchy quality in the middle but it becomes Good Villalobos after. And there wasn't any Good Villalbos for a long time.

Hnng, getting those on vinyl is probably going to cost a fair share and I am not too keen on a mixed CD.

hard to say what Tietjen had done here, because this whole debut record consists of collaboration tracks.

Oh, yum, missed this. Good stuff, I love what he does with FM and reverb.

Don't know how to do them looking like sets, but they are sets with all tracks to be released, just push on links to listen. Noticed the direct sampling of Atom TM's 'Slow Motion' in last track (Defixia).

His drum sounds are really nice but I don't think I would get much from a whole album.

Got the Dependent and Happy 5xLPs and they are great. The man has a way with sound and rhythm. Love the tabla in "I'm Counting", "Samma" and "Ferenc" are also standouts. Overall a great release and is one of Villalobos best efforts.
