COD: Black Ops 2

Looks like they've moved things to the future and whilst this is only a snapshot, this looks pretty damn terrible. Seems like they're just recycling the same tired formula (no surprises there then) but with robots.

Looks like that could be quite good. How far can you possibly go with past/modern day wars. It's all been done. I didn't get the last BO but I'll probably get this one.

The walking things reminded me of Mechwarrior.

I bought the first, and I vowed to never play a Call of Duty game ever again.

I needn't worry about this one because it looks laaaaaammme.

the latest one was rubbish but black ops was great. treyarch have done the best call of duty games since modern warfare.

looks weird. gave up with CoD after MW3, which was wank. Black Ops was alright but this just looks like a weird version with nothing better about it.

yuk that trailer is very ugly, total clash of art styles. probably very bad art direction. i don't think there's a team of committed game developers behind this game, just some people who need to have a job..

Activision had something good with Infinity Ward, and they killed that. Treyarch is no where near as good a developer as IW was in it's heyday since all the good people left it.

Even Battlefield is starting to get stale as the jump from 2-3 wasn't that great. If BF4 can get 60FPS on consoles, then we're talking about a comeback. Doubt they've got the programming muscle to make that happen though.

I'm not sure what happened w/ BF3 but I seriously haven't played it in a few months. I just got bored and started playing much more TF2. A big problem of BF3 has been the nerf/buffs. They crippled anti-air weapons for the Engi's which makes jets almost impossible to destroy even with heat-seekers. Expansion pack weapons were pretty OP so you largely see people playing with the same 2 or 3 loadouts... That plus the lack of friends playing I guess is what killed it for me. All of my friends just play EVE Online for the last 4 years

BF3 is still really fun, get ya head outta ye ass, get some more friends, get a pc. that is all, thx

probably don't even need to get a new pc, just buy a hundred and fifty dollar graphics card for it and you will probably be set

I will be shocked if the next gen of consoles run at anything less than 60fps/1080P as standard. With today's graphics card technology, there's no reason for it not to considering you can get a PC graphics card capable of doing so for well under 100USD.

The graphics cards aren't going to be that amazing in next generation consoles. If you look at the projections, Nvidia's graph on how smart phones GPUs are more powerful than consoles now and their prospects for the future. Most games will probably 30FPS or less on consoles so they can try and get them as pretty as possible. If they didn't prioritize pretty over framerate next gen console games would not be very impressive at all compared to smart phone games and obviously PCs.

The projects for what will be in the next Microsoft console is a what was months ago a $70 dollar AMD GPU, that probably isn't too far off. The prioritize budget more than power obviously and especially with more people watching Netflix on their 360s than playing games they aren't too worried. The biggest thing they are looking forward to is removing the ability to sell and play used games on next gen consoles.

Cellphones are extremely limited by their batteries and it's starting to become really hard to lower power consumption.

I don't see 60fps happening on consoles in the next generation either. Apart from Rage and GT5 in some camera modes, pretty much every high budget console game is targetting 30fps, many not consistently managing that. Most people just dont care about it. 1080p should be manageable, AA & AF will hopefully be introduced and increased memory should make a big difference. 512MB is absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand how they can make games like Just Cause 2 run with such tight memory constraints. And let's hope Sony saves everyone some time and money and uses more conventional system architecture this time.

Call of Duty 122 Future Warfare is already out guys, don't bother with this one.

I still haven't played MW3 yet....my bro got it as a bday gift, so its free...i might as well try it.

I remember loving the WaW multiplayer, but never really touched a CoD game other than that. maybe ill try out the single player campaign today...
