ventolin68
Jonas Munk (aka Manual) has a new album out under his own name. It's called Pan and consists of seven tracks constructed from old-school analog synthesizers, detuned guitars, electronic units, lots of fuzz and heavily cranked tube amplifiers. Warm and cosmic electronic music with a heavy psychedelic feel. The album will be released on CD and vinyl (limited to 500 copies worldwide). On his own, guitar player and producer from Causa Sui, Jonas Munk, creates pulsating, repetitive music that blends the cosmic sounds of German electronic music from the 1970s with detuned guitar-drones and modern psychedelia. Pan is a record that both reflects his collaborations in recent years - with artists such as Ron Schneiderman, Tortoise and Ulrich Schnauss - as well his admiration for artists as diverse as Terry Riley, Cluster and Bardo Pond. Guest trananhhung
Just bought it on iTunes. Downloading. I buy everything from this guy, but I have no idea how this will sound. His latest as Manual was a bit weak, in my opinion. Azure Vista is still my favorite from him. Guest trananhhung
What an annoying record. It's krautrock without beats. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/73789-jonas-munk-pan/#findComment-1840038 Share on other sites
