Change signature & edit posts

Hi,

I registered on this forum about two years ago but pretty much never used it except for a few posts. Now I'm back but I noticed I can't edit my signature. I still have my old one with a broken link and I'd like to remove it.

Plus, is there any way I can edit my own posts?

click on your username at the top right to bring down the drop down menu, select my settings, then click on signature in the menu on the right hand side.

don't think you can edit your posts with a standard account - you need EKT/EKT Plus account.

also with a post count below 100 (i think?) you have restricted options... you need to start posting a bit more!

I am having the same issue (I also registered some time ago and have come back since the site has been updated). There is no signature option in the 'my settings' section for me. There are only the following links on the left sidebar:

Profile Settings

Email & Password

'Ignore' Preferences

Manage Attachments

Notification Options

My Notifications

Would love to edit my signature :) Cheers,

You're both in the Restricted group since you hadn't used your accounts in over 6 months. It should have moved you back into Members respectively - I'll look into it. PM me if you keep having problems.

Oh, wait - you're Restricted, so you might not be able to do that...

what is the purpose behind putting members in a restricted group if they do not post for a while?

OK, you guys should be fine now - just post and it should move you from Restricted back to your respective groups prior to your accounts going inactive.

The purpose of the Restricted group is to weed out abandoned accounts - when someone is inactive for a period of time, it sends an email to them (assuming they used a valid email account) notifying them.
