"Today, New Jersey producer Clams Casino, one of the best new artists to emerge last year, dropped his second mixtape of instrumental productions as a free download. Michael Volpe took to his Twitter account to announce the new package of tunes, which includes his work found on A$AP Rocky's LIVELOVEA$AP record, his remixes for Washed Out and Lana Del Rey, his production for The Weeknd, an unreleased tune, and much more. You can download the 14-song offering"

Ah! I was just coming here to post this exact same thread. Downloaded it a few minutes ago and it sounds fantastic. On par with his previous Instrumental mixtape.

"@johnxela: For everyone asking we have no plans to do the Clams LP on wax."

should just put it on bandcamp though

Thanks for sharing. Real sweet stuff.

this is quite good. possibly one or two tracs i would exclude on a proper release but i'll give them time to settle. here's to type releasing vinyl decoction

Downloading this right now, Clams makes some great beats shame he tends to work with some pretty mediocre rappers though... The instrumental for Soulja Boy's - All I Need from the first mixtape is a prime example of what I mean. I love the beat, the rap is weak though. He deserves to wortk with some rappers of higher caliber.

I was introduced to Clams through the first Instrumentals and I only knew of 1 or 2 of the songs. It was great.

With Vol.2, I'm already familiar with most of the songs and most of the instrumentals were on that BBC broadcast in April or May of this year (with the exception of that one with the Bowie/Labrynth sample...where is that!?).

So this one wasn't as fun for me, but still a good release.
