Guest Promo
Hi guys, I want to get my father some PC speakers for Father's Day and my budget is £50. What would you recommend which are going to sound half decent for that price. Cheers. modey
Probably blasphemy but I find Logitech speakers are actually pretty decent. I bought a Logitech 5.1 system about a year ago and it's quite good. Is there good definition with all the frequencies? Squee
A friend of mine has this set http://www.amazon.co...9075788&sr=1-15 He uses them for gaming, music listening (not producing), and movies, and they are definitely entertainment speakers because the bass is fucking intense! I would buy those if I was you. pcock
you could get a set of krk's for like 180 second hand, and they are an beast. Guest Promo
Mm shame the Altec Lansing MX5021 don't seem to be available anymore. Seems they've been superseded by the MX6021. Guest sirch
funny how the budget has gone from 50 to 140! but if i were you i'd just get a pair of Alesis M1 320's... for like, 60 quid. or the next ones up from the 320's. i had a pair a few years ago for my laptop and they're decent enough. personally i'd never buy anything by Creative or Logitech, or ALBA, for that matter! haha.. ALBA. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/74075-recommend-me-some-pc-speakers/#findComment-1830150 Share on other sites
Guest Promo
Yeah I realised after that comment that BCM was being his usual positive and bubbly self lol. Oh and the budget has gone up as I've got my sister's to chip in now. Guest sirch
cool. btw, are you looking for a multimedia-type speaker setup for gaming/films, or just speakers for listening to music files/CD's, etc. ? Guest Promo
It'd be just for listening to files/cds music. What about these - I think they'd be pretty versatile? http://www.productio...on/samson-sd4i/ Edited June 7, 2012 by Promo Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/74075-recommend-me-some-pc-speakers/#findComment-1830208 Share on other sites
