Four Tet 128 Harps

I had to paste this here, because I'm sure I've heard the harp melody before but I can't point a finger. Is it from one of his own older tracks? Is it from some minimalist composer?

NEED HELP!

No, it's not that. I love that track. This is something else. I think he rip this off from some classical composer, but I can't connect it, yet. I'll scroll my infinite iTunes list to find it.

I'm a bit shocked, frankly. He's so high-profile... The track sucks big time and the only thing that could save is a melodic phrase that's not even from him. Imagine any of the WATMM supported artists coming with a single that has a single melodic motif repited ad eternum copied from, I don't know, a Messiaen work. If you're raping or making a pop song, maybe it could work. But when you're an electronic musician whose music is appreciated because of its melodic composition, i find it pretty shameful. I'm a bloody purist, yeah.

wow....what happened to that awesome stuff he was making about a year ago? This is a huge change...maybe he was just f***in around with this one?

He has put out a few decent 12s of late though lest we not forget!

man the beat at the start of that tune was pretty cool but the rest of it really sucked . never really got into four tet tho
