Have any specs been released? I haven't seen anything about this besides this video...

Given it shows Moogerfooger at the end, it might be some kind of mini sized analogue, though with more functionality than the Monotron. Or just another effects unit...

if it's super cheap or brilliant then ill be excited but i reckon it's going to be about as exciting as the announcement of a chinese company making an acoustic guitar

how about making a product that you cant get anywhere else made new?

or an SMT/SMD mini modular, use tiny components and have a huge modular system on a really small & thin board with small but tough patch cables

put part blame on the customers, theres too much fetish for MOOG 24dB LADDER FILTER and not enough demand for something different and exciting yet useful

it's 2012 and we're being asked to pay £500 for a keyboard that can only play one note at a time

After watching the video some more I think you are right. If its another delay/multi-effects then thats cool, but, C'mon Moog, take a leap and make something at least a 4 voice poly and fully analog <--- now there is something I can ponder selling my internal organs for

Upon watching the actual video I'd agree. Seems like it's a MF-104Z with a LFO to control the delay time maybe. If they're still using the same BBD chips it'll cost probably the same was an MF-104Z which isn't cheap, but is a great pedal. Mine gets constant use.

I'd personally go for four Oberheim SEMs chained together.

Well that is pretty sexy. But delay time only goes down to 50ms, eh? And although I don't know anything about Moog's MIDI conventions, I'm guessing it will use CCs for a 7 bit resolution. Hmmm. I realize these are contradictory complaints but I feel entitled to them at their price point.

The MF104Z's shortest delay was just under 50ms, and its longest delay was around 1000ms (ie 1 second). Not the longest but that's about as long as you'll get with most BBD chips. If you wanted longer delays in the analogue world your only other option would be a tape echo probably.

That's about how much I got their MF-104Z for new. A bit of cash alright but I haven't regretted it, it's a beautiful sounding delay. Twisting the delay speed up and down while stuff goes through it gets some incredible sounds. You could space out for hours. Obviously it's not in everybody's price range, but I'd say there aren't many owners out there who think it wasn't worth buying.

That said, a second hand RE-301 might work out about the same price, but you'll eventually have to spend a bit on upkeep for that.
