What happened to LFO?

I can't believe it has been almost nine years since the last album.

Does anyone know what Mark Bell is up to these days?

He had that split with AFX in 2005, but again, that was 7 years ago.

Due to my trying to imagine what caused you to make this mistake, I am wondering what the hell a Mark Bell/Mark Fell collaboration would sound like.

actually, the 2nd & 3rd tracks are going on vinyl. Ben Sims is planning on releasing his track on Retro-vert (i think) and the Posthuman track is coming out on vinyl later this year with remixes by Mark Archer, Ben Sims, and Radioactive Man

I'd love to release an EP of LFO tracks, but I doubt it'd be possible. Getting a track from Mark was a coup in itself, and it was for charity. And even assuming he'd be up for releasing more, he's probably under contract elsewhere anyways.

Also, for the record I have qualms with Mark Bell working with Bjork. Realized I saw him perform with Bjork in 2007 actually. I'm curious how many tracks he's sitting on though.

They should've played the STRP festival in 2011, but they cancelled at the last moment because of illnes. Really bummed out by that, was one of the reasons I went there, next to Aphex.

I saw him with Bjork in '08 and Hyperballad's ending mutated into Freak. I lost my shit and my friend (who is a massive Bjork fan) didn't understand why; I had to explain to her.

Yeah he ended the set I saw with her track Pluto, which I've always considered a LFO track with her vocals over it. Him and another guy on tour were using the reactable during the encore.

And fuck, I left out a word...I don't have qualms with Mark Bell engineering and producing tracks with Bjork. Seems like a good gig.

i'd like to see a Bjork 'super-band', featuring Bjork (of course), Mark Bell, and Plaid (previous Bjork tour band members) team up.
