Although I try to be influenced by other things, my music is inspired by video games in one sense, that games seek to create the illusion of a living, breathing world by having enough going on at once that you don't immediately notice that it's based off of predictable animations and rhythms. I tried to construct this piece in the same way, small events happening out of sync that create the illusion of something larger than the sum of its parts.
