joshuatxuk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7hpYIM51QI ^ I always loved the breakbeat used in this around 0:50. A month or so ago, I heard this on a local radio station, during a classic soul show (@5:14) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7sfOlQbD28 My friend pointed out this one to me after I played it on turntable.fm, he was pretty stoked that he knew the sample source. I would of had no idea otherwise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CukAa2--Xk ^ (intro to both songs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIciKDEA_5U Edited July 2, 2012 by joshuatx Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide joshuatxuk's signature Hide all signatures Tape Escape! QBLA
cool list of samples there modey. I'm not familiar with FLA much I'll youtube those and find the samples. Here's Slider by FSOL. I remember it being one of my favorite tracks of the time. Still love it. Anyway, It samples some parts from Bram Stoker Dracula starting at 1:41 (the female voice). Here's the sample at around 1:49:55. I remember watching the movie a few years after the release of this album and when that part came on both my wife and I looked at eachother and was like "Didn't fsol sample that?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMCJNZX0gIM Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide QBLA's signature Hide all signatures BONDING TAPES JOYFUL UNION CASSETTE BLOG ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/74537-the-sample-thread/#findComment-1842851 Share on other sites
