favorite fruit?

this was going to be a summer fruit thread but screw it, any type is welcome.

i just ate a nectarine, i f'ing love nectarines.. so good, but impossible to eat without getting the juice all over the place.

what's your fave fruit ? ?

Mango, pineapple, water melon, lychee to name a few. Nectarines are great too. And grapefruit.

But I love this apple called Pink Ladies. It's a cross between a Golden Delicious and a Lady William apple.

I feel slightly dirty everytime I'm heading for the supermarket to buy them:

Hmm It's probably a three way tie between Strawberries, Mangoes, and Pineapple... now the combination of all three in a smoothie

I don't like the super huge ones though, they don't really have any flavor.

There's a mom and pop market around here that has locally grown produce. The ones there are the bomb.

grapes are cool too. I always end up eating the whole bunch. I love how there is no guilt when you eat a lot of fruit.

one bite of this melon and you will realize that it contains the power to taste like any fruit you desire. it's the everlasting gobstopper melon that those fat cats in washington don't want YOU to know about!

and the temptation is to make sweet, juicy love to it. the seeds have sharp ends though.
