Boards of Cananda - The Campfire Headphase (fakes)

so as we all know, several fakes were released around the time of TCH

some were freeschia tracks and odds bits and bobs.

however, the authorship of this other one i have that i got around that era has been bugging me

it's quite good!

I only saved a few tracks, the better ones to my mind

into the rainbow vein (00:57),

chromakey dreamcoat (4:29),

sherbert head(4:37),

and ataronchronon(8:12)

now,

i was listening to the christ's album metamorphic reproduction miracle today and thought i heard some similarities in sounds. like specific glitches and percussion sounds.

i'll try to find specific examples if need be.

does anyone have the other tracks on this fake?

i'd really like to hear more music by who ever made these tunes.

Hmmm... I wish I knew. The Chromakey Dreamcoat track is awful, but I like the other three alot. Hope someone can pin this down for you.

ive actually wound up with the fake for into the rainbow vein before, and not even gonna lie i like it alot better than the real one.

i really like the sherbert head fake. reminds me more of afx than boc, though.

edit: i wish i knew who made it. i'd listen to more of their music.

From what I remember, the fakes were Freescha tunes.

boards of canada are pretty decent
