I'm a little shaky about how this track turned out, any helpful criticism would be cool.

Mixing it was quite the challenge with so many moving parts. I think this is where my apprehension lies.

I usually don't let a bar repeat without changing something. (Unless it's really good!)

What do you think?

Yup, spot on with the Warner theme. I was starting this track in the living room, and I heard my mate starting a movie in his room. I interrupted and said I need to record that sound. Rewind it. and held out my cassette recorder (thus the tape hiss).

Oh yeah, it totally has the same vibe as that part! It's a pretty simple keyboard lick, but the thick delay, reverb and stereo offset make it a lot more striking. That song is really cool, I'm trying to find more stuff by Bilinksi now.

I'm going to continue posting my tracks in this thread, as to not flood the forum with new posts. The title describes most of the music we (The Spectrum Electric) produce, so it fits!

Here's a brand new song, it's kind of different. It's sort of delicate in a way but it gets dark.

I present: Uncle Plucker's Demented Dream

This one has an IDM vibe for sure.

Here's a new song that I call Black Locust. It's part of a dark/spooky EP that we're working on.

Looking back on the first song in this thread, I'm not happy with it. The sound quality is much too heavy-handed. I need to go back over it and make it crisper. This latest song I just posted is a lot more crisp.
