Hipster Olympics

Remember that Youtube video a few years ago where they spoofed a Hipster Olympics in the style of Monty Python? That was pretty funny back then, right?

Well, now the Germans have officially killed hipsterism by making it a real event, and it's into it's second year.

How utterly lame.

There's not one normal looking person amongst those photos.

Unless Hipster has moved on from what I remember, then I don't think any of them even look like Hipsters.

I gather that real hipsters have grown grizzly beards and moved into the woods. These people are just teenagers.

hang on... aren't they taking the piss out of hipsters? that's how it seemed to me. but maybe i'm wrong...

i would love it if this is a whole 'mock hipsters' olympics, though. maybe the UK should do one like that, if this isn't like that.

there's loads of normal looking people i think. and like Gary says they don't really look that Hipster.

because Hipster fashion has become mainstream fashion now. so to me they all look pretty normal.

this would have been funnier maybe 5 years ago.

but maybe i don't even know what a Hipster is anymore...

Aye, if you hadn't mentioned it was meant to be 'Hipster Olympics' I'd say that it looks like any and every event involving 16-34 year olds (erm, that's a demographic range rather than me being oddly ace specific !)
