I oscillate between having a huge amount of respect for joe rogan to being super turned off by him. He's one of the only famous people that can do that to me.

I find myself having this reaction too, depending on what guest he has on. a lot of times its genuinely interesting, thought provoking conversation that has me thinking "wow, theres really nothing else like this podcast out there " and sometimes its borderline homophobic, misogynistic broish nonsense. but generally i think its great and pretty hilarious. theres a ton of good episodes..tons of great guests..

Immortal Technique got a lot of cred in the 'conspiracy' movement when he came out as a 9/11 truther.

My sister interviewed him on her show and he acted like a standoffish contrarian for absolutely no reason, he would just arbitrarily disagree with her line of questioning to take some sort of upper hand in the interview.
