Interesting/non-touristy things to do around London

Some of you must live in and around London. I'm coming from Canada with three friends for a few days before the Bangface Weekender in September. My friends and I have all been to London (except one guy) and we were looking for some more unusual stuff to do there. We're gonna hit up a few touristy things at some point I'm sure, especially since my one friend has never been out of the country before, but that's simple enough. We'd all be down for stuff related to art, music, architecture, history or anything weird and fun really.

So yeah, what are some unusual or interesting places or things to do you could suggest that might not be on the usual tourist itinerary cause when I try google, all I can seem to find are freakin' ghost walks.

Also would love to know about any cool pubs or whatever in the area (like ones fairly cheap ass, but still awesome...for poor college-age keedz).

Easily accessible from Paddington station area would be good. :)

Looked up a bit of stuff about it and yeah, seems like the type of thing we'd be into.

You might want to order a taxi though. Probably best to do that now.
