Night Sequels - Nick Huntingdon

Single four minute piece that sounds great watching the last surfers riding in and bikini babes wandering across golden sands as the sun sets over California (well, that's at least what comes to mind)

Link is only up for a while according to Nick.

As an aside, Freescha also contributed to some new material to a 30 minute art documentary about De Wain Valentine's 'Gray Column'.

The music is great (no surprise there) but the documentary is also interesting too if you're into aesthetics and stuff.

Just to clarify, Night Sequels is Nick's moniker, it isn't the name of a release he's doing.

I didn't realise that. Thanks.

Yeah he's already done two remixes for me as NS, and I have it on good authority that there are two full-length NS albums in the works.

That's great news. Are Freescha taking a back seat for a while?

Without revealing too much about their personal lives, some changes have come along this year and as a result the band are more or less on hold.

freescha will keep, although that is not the best of news for fannies. they certainly paused on a sweet sounding note. maybe that 7" title was a bit of a hint?

You're on the right track, but as obvious as that might be, I'm not going to blather on the internet about their personal lives. I will put it this way - things are no longer in yes or no territory, but maybe.

In the meantime, check out those two Night Sequels remixes Nick did for me - they're easily up there with Freescha stuff in my opinion:

u, i was not attempting to coax further informations from you (ambiguous as my statement may have seemed). harppy i am not knowing irl, regarding most of the musicians i hear Edited by Redruth

Oh I know, no worries. I guess all I ever wanted to make clear by posting about it is that there's nothing negative happening, but Freescha fans shouldn't get their hopes up either. It's like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory gates..."Nobody ever comes in, and nobody ever goes out!" Such is Freescha.

New Single.

Great single; Freeschaesque! What is up with the fellow's face at the end when he removes the mask?!

If this and the last Night Sequels track are anything to go by then the Freescha hiatus or whatever will be more than bearable. Sounding even better than Terror Train. Can't recall correctly if it was in an email or on the nets, but I'm sure Nick has several albums worth of stuff up his sleeve. If that's right then I want it all, and now.

New song is the best thing I've heard so far this year.

That's saying something, considering how strong 2013 has been already. And thanks to Mr. Grainger, incidentally. The bullshit-free MDG of Freeschaland!

Another great track! The Freescha boys really have their own thing going aesthetically!

Aaaaaand a Night Sequels album later this year (according to the Attack9 FB page)..... where will it all end in 2013? Best year for music I can remember in a long, long time.
