Not a fan of Affleck, but this "true story" thing certainly caught my attention. Looks interesting.

i've never been completely taken by affleck. however, more recently, he has been slowly winning me over with his film making. 'the town' was quite enjoyable and this doesn't look half bad

anyone hear that the Justice League property has been handed over to Affleck? There are rumors he will also star as one of the major DC comic super heroes. Really fucking weird, but it also makes sense to hire an attempted gritty east coast vibe fillmmaker to continue sort of a Nolan esque take on the rest of the DC universe

sounds dubious. if i were him i'd stay the course, use the momentum i've already generated as the director and continue to forge essentially the same path i've been laying. i'd trully sulitify my reputation as director and only then experiment with an undertaking such as this

it does for sure, but I'd rather him be behind a project of this undertaking than someone like Zack Snyder, who seem poised to be the one to be Warner Bro's DC comics work horse

does it make me racist to dislike Daredevil mostly because Kingpin was the black guy from the Green Mile?

zack snyder seems a bit of the onehitwonderboy. his butchering of the watchmen material left me sour and unforgiving.

i thought to mention the daredevil thingy but to afflecks credit he was not the director and was also distracted by that ingénue flirt garner.

Agreed, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I ended up enjoying "The Town", I had low expectations but it ended up being a good movie. This doesn't look too bad either.
