New Locust album, just finished!

No definitive release date, but judging from the following interview conducted earlier in the year, it should be out this year.

I ask because while you have quite the respectable discography, your most recent The Revenant Diary (Editions Mego) has surely garnered you recent some attention, and must have opened to doors to putting you on some good bookings as of late.

Thanks, yes the record's gone very well, and yes some new doors have I think been opened for some new listeners. I had a very quiet decade in the 00's musically, which I am attempting to address by ramping things up somewhat. I'm hoping to get three records out this year. I have a Locust album slated for release on Apollo/R&S, a new MVH album, and then there's a collaboration with Neil Halstead of Slowdive/Mojave 3 too.

Also, here are some new Locust tracks from Mark's most recent internet radio session. May or may not be on the new album.

I can't wait!

There is another guy joining Locust now. Louis Sherman. He played with Mark on that internet radio show I mentioned at the bottom of my first post

I wasn't a big fan of 'The Revenant Diary', but then I've always preferred his Locust output anyway. I didn't have amazingly high hopes for this, but the samples I've heard to far sound really interesting.

Looking forward to this one now.

Sooooo good! The Revenant Diary was the best 2012 release IMO and this one is going to be second best of 2013...with the first being the new Autechre LP of course.

Official release date is April 1st. I hope it's not gonna be an April Fool's joke...

Warp30 anyone? A 4-hour selection.

Amon Tobin megamix sonic gravity pull in 3, 2, 1...

FSOL turns 26 megamix. Auauauaaaaaaaaaaaauaua

Boards Of Canada are soooo lush. Shhhhhhhhhhh hhuuuuhuuuu haaaaa!

Best of Jega BaBooooooom!

Hm, just flicking through the tracks. Pretty diverse album. Some pop, some BOC-like IDM (like above posted Strobes), some sound experiments, some pretty rhythmic stuff, some nujazzy moments, and loads of analogue synth sounds all over the place.
