I guess I had always imagined some ancient & enchanted source from which babby RDJ found his samples, but that's actually quite conventional & relatively modern looking.

It's like at the start of his career he wasn't all that different from tha youth of today, remixing random bits of funny dialogue with a ridiculous drum beat & sharing it with his friends on youtube cassette tapes. Except of course he was doing it over two decades ago

Funny to see this. I like the dark first half of the ad, and I even integrated the first part as a sample as well. Still ambiental with the sinister drone under the voice. At least it sounds less distorted then the sample used by AFX, but that could be possibly a bad convert from analog video/TV to his soundbank.
