Recommendations for Sitar-based Music

So, Ive always heard sitar in a number of different songs, starting with George Harrison when I was a tiny tot. I really want to get some almost meditative, beautiful slow vibrant sitar compositions to play while I do grading and desk work in the background. Something like this is very close:

I figured Ravi is the obvious go to, but I have no idea where to start. The first two minutes of this are absolutely and exactly what im looking for.

 

 

Can you wise Watmmers recommend me stuff to zone out to?

itll take awhile cause i barely remember much from the class but for now try this guy out. it not exactly what you asked but you might like it. his name is Solar fields and this album is called leaving home. its a combination of ambient electronic with sitar melodies. i love this dude for background music. here something to see if you like it.

k so heres some traditional sitar players to look up. hopefully this will be all you need. each one of these guys' have massive dicogs.
