Josephine Foster - Blood Rushing

so the new j-fo album is out and it's pretty great, i always like her more with a band (like born heller, all the leaves are gone and this coming gladness) and this one's too got a great band on it. very american sounding with lots of hooks and gorgeous melodies.

Yeah, I got deep into her stuff (particularly All the Leaves Are Gone) a few years back. Will probably pick this up eventually but I've been buying way too much shit recently. Reminds me I still need to read the interview with her in the new Wire.

Just picked this up and it's completely fantastic. Probably her most accessible stuff but really nuanced and beautifully recorded. Dreamy.
