Well, I guess he won't be in the inevitable Thundercats film then.

That's a damn shame. I half heard news on the radio this morning saying a "gentle giant" had died. I did automatically think of him but only found out later that it was him. I thought he was a lot younger too.

TIL that, in his 20s, MCD was a bodyguard for Will Smith, Jamie Fox and Notorious BIG. He switched assignments just before Biggie was shot.

And Bruce Willis recommended him for The Green Mile after they worked together on Armageddon.

Sad to hear about this.

He seemed like a nice guy, and his performance in The Green Mile was sublime. RIP.

I think he had a good shot at being cast as Bishop in the next X-Men film. Here's hoping Michael Jai White gets a shot at it.
