Nicki Minaj is quickly turning into hip-hop's Lady Gaga - the "edgy" facade is crumbling. All of her songs are basically "I'm gonna sing like a pseudo-British socialite/now I'm a black valley girl/AND NOW I'M A SCARY ASS MONSTA" repeat 3x and done.

They're all just major label creations, mostly. I don't have a problem with Rihanna, she puts out decent tracks along with the cheesy club ones. And Wiz Khalifa - this is a totally lameass reason to not mind him, but I watched some silly MTV show where they interviewed his mom and she said he would actually go home, do his homework, then go to the studio to record mixtapes. I actually respect that work ethic instead of the typical "I used to hustle on the streets before I rapped" stories. In interviews he came off as someone who worked hard and was actually appreciative of his success.
