FLA FUR BIS FLE
this was pretty interesting. the only thing that sounded slightly out of place was the pitched down t-rex/big dini sound. the vibrations of its movement were dope.. but i could kind of hear that something was pitched down when the vocal stuff started happening. other than that, the movement sounds of all of the other "creatures",and change ups in dino calls was really well done.if i may ask, what was the source material for the dino sounds? It was a pitched down burp/wolf growel with Rbass added to it. thanks robert moses said: if i may ask, what was the source material for the dino sounds? shh its a secret , i dont want to give it away to people who havent heard it yet, but.... Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... all of the other sounds were birds, including the insect/cricket like sounds (spedup 10-100x birds) and the lower pitched howls and dinosaur squaks (30-500x slowed down birds). but really i think that it almost makes sense how heavily pitched down birds sound like dinosaurs might have sounded, afterall birds are supposed to be the relatives of dinosaurs. The way i got such a clear non-noisey bird sample was that this insane bird used to land inside my chimney at my old house every day. It happened so often but only for like 5 minutes at a time. So i decided to stick a pair of microphones in there and have my laptop ready to record. The chimney acted as a very good sounding resonating chamber and natural iso booth. thanks for listening. im nearly done with an album with the concept of field recordins of non exsistent/impossible to get to places ....
