It's clean, it's sharp, and it invokes images of futuristic, spacious constructions. For his first full-length album, breakcore artist Techdiff leaves the dancefloor anthems behind and demonstrates an insolent talent for ultra-edited, highly dynamic tracks mixing break beats, electronica and sound design. Myriad of details and idea flow together in this beast of a work, which demonstrates (as his label mate Ruby My Dear also did recently) that there's much hope to be had in this new wave of breakcore producer. This clearly doesn't sound like anything this genre has ever produced in the past, but proves to be an impressive milestone for this artist and this style

Hope this is in the correct forum, my apologies if it is not. Would the mods kindly relocate it if necessary.

Anyway, I'm so glad to have finished this album and to see it being released, as such a huge amount of time and effort went into it. I'm really proud of the result, hope you all enjoy it.

Will be available on CD and digital from November 5th.

There are previews on the Ad Noiseam site, and also on my SoundCloud here: http://snd.sc/OQInjW

Fuck yes, really excited about this album. Ruby My Dear's album really caught my ear, and your Black Dog Released EP was stunning too. Breakcore has definitely made a bit of a fight back this year. Definitely buying a copy!

Ah thanks dude, really excited to have finished this one, finally!

It's pretty different from the last one, no amens and distorted kick drums, loads more synth work I suppose. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Have had this on repeat nonstop for the last couple of days. Fantastic work man! From the beats, to the synths, to the sound design, everything is flawless and impeccably done. My hats off to you and congrats!

Never got round to reviewing this yet.

Its certainly different!

No breakcore thrashing beats and pieces of any sorts...this is really a dub/bass album conconcted by a breakcore producer and you can tell with the way the beats are pushed to the limits. There are twinklings of melodies that poke in here and there (which is what helped set the breakcore tracks on the Black Dog EP apart).

In a way I was initially disappointed because I was hoping to have my brain pummelled into a soup, instead it felt empty and "lacking a punch"....

BUT

I am totally glad you offered something different in the album format, and kudos +50 internet points for doing so and being brave with the style. And I actually really like it now that I have come to accept it for what it is (not a breakcore album)!

[looking forward to a return to aggressive fast and complex music next time though :emotawesomepm9::music::diablo: ]

Well, like you said it's different from the stuff I've had released before, but that's kinda the funny thing. Up until this one, the labels that had been approaching me for releases had been wanting the breakcore stuff, so that's the stuff I'd give them. Sure enough, a couple releases and you get a reputation as being a breakcore producer. Ad Noiseam have been nice enough to let me put out something different. Not a change in style so much as the opportunity to release tracks that other labels wouldn't have expected from me.

Really I just like making music and really hope to avoid releasing just one type of thing, the other 90% of my stuff just rotting away on a failing hard drive. I guess a couple people have expressed "disappointment" that this isn't another collection of 240+ bpm amen workouts, but it's genuinely really nice to hear people such as yourself giving it a fair chance, not instantly dismissing it because of a change in tempo..

I'm sure there'll be some more Amen wankery at some point, next time I'm in the mood I guess =D
