If we're all lucky enough to survive the coming Mayan apocalypse, we can look forward to listening Chaz Bundick's 4th album on January 22nd next year, when it will be released on Carpark records.

 

It sounds as if the album might a bit of a departure for him. You can read a small interview about it here:

Bought it this afternoon and getting towards the end of it after putting it on a little while ago. Thoroughly enjoyable album indeed; Chaz has yet put a foot wrong imo.

Not really my thing, but I can see the appeal.

Nice rhythms, bit funky, lots of style, sometimes bit cheesy, interesting moving sounds, however dunno: to each it's own, I guess.

Lyrics and voice, I'd probably have to get used to.
