This better not have anything similar to 'stick to my side' on it. That nearly ruined the last album of his for me.

The track up there sounds pretty sweet though!

i quite enjoy the album without that trac. the trac is infinitely irritating and disruptive, especially within that context. i've permanently disposed of it

It's weird, love Pantha's music, but it's so fucking arbitrary the way he's made big inroads with the indie community in the States compared to other dance producers. The Animal Collective connection/Pitchfork bandwagon definitely helped.

That sounds really bitter, actually really looking forward to this album!

This is soo boring in my ears. He will be in Berlin and I wanted to go, but after listening for the stream, I know for sure, I won't.

Check my dusty tunes and mixes over here: https://soundcloud.com/2kn

I think it's plinky-plonky-pretty. On the stream it does take quite awhile to go anywhere, but I kind of like that.

I've bought the album as I love PdP. I've heard it a couple of times and it's fairly good so far. It does take a while to get going, but one of the tracks (or "movements"), which is the centre piece of the album and is 17 minutes long is really, really good.

It's fairly short - 45 minutes - so if you're a fan of his previous music I'd recommend checking it out at least.

Just heard this for the first time! I really liked it. I'm a huge fan of bells, slowly evolving chords, and deep comforting bass. I think my one criticism is that there's almost too much of a good thing here; the album is very satisfying and not too varied so there isn't a lot that makes me want to go back to it right away. Except that I will.

I agree, it's a great album and gets better with each listen. He already peaked his previous style with both This Bliss and Black Noise in my opinion so he needed to try something slightly different and a little more experimental and it worked out in this instance. That isn't to say that this is as good as the aforementioned albums but it is good in its own right.
