Tracing a Location - NSA shit

is it possible to trace a person's location from an email and/or PM's on a website?

I need to find out a person's location if it's at all possible.

any help from any computer whiz's would be very much appreciated.

Hopefully this isn't anyone on WATMM you're wanting to know their location, because that's a violation of a person's privacy. It's a quick way to get banned here.

no, obviously not, or I wouldn't make a pubic thread about it here would i! lol.

the reason I ask is because somebody I know got scammed recently, big time.

anyway, I have received some info on this and my question has pretty much been answered, so the thread is now closed.

not sure why you needed to lock it so quickly before knowing anything about it, but I guess that's just what admins & mods do.
