rhythmic metal drumming chizzeck

pretty happy with the drum tones on this one. i threw a little jazzy groove sesh in there for extra METAL

i used Superior Drummer 2.0 with the Metal Machine EZX in Logic Pro 9

whats with the panning at 0:17. This reminds me of this one video of a roland (or something) product specialist wailing on some drum pads. I'll see if I can find the video. Ah, here it is:

Nice beats. And yeah, did you accidentally touch a knob or something around 0:17? It really doesn't fit.

I can imagine this being perfect for what you´re going for. I do have a bit of a problem with that kick drum though, it has a kind of a high pitched click in there that doesn´t sit well in my ears, especially after so many times. I suppose it could work though with the music over it. Just be careful if the other music cuts out, that sound of the kick drum might reveal itself to the ears and they might clash with them!

I´m liking the irregular jazzy timing of the second half. It´s making me think: Prog metal?

and hermann, YES! I'm all about prog metal. Anything progressive really. if there are changing tempos/keys/sigs i'm there!
