cool, its like light industrial music. honestly, i don't have any suggestions. sorry. but im interested in where you go with them.

just started this tonight and have been obsessively working on it for ~7 hours

hopefully it's a bit better than the first two I posted

3rd one is class mate.

First one was ruined by the 303. doesn't really fit the rest of the track at all.

Second one was good but too short. That detuned synth is very nice. My favorite of the three.

Third one is alright. like the voice sample.

 

Is this all wip stuff? Because a longer version of that second track would be really nice.

first one- dope. i like the the 303 esp w/the filter muffle style. second one- also dope. as said above, the detuned synth is great. too short obviously. third one - has potental but nothing really stuck out to me about it. i do like those pad/vocals or whatever they may be.

thanks - this stuff is wip, yes. I'm surprised that anyone likes the pads & vocal sample from the 3rd song at all, something about it really bugs me, and I am thinking about removing the existing melody completely and trying again... we'll see though

 

also I am definitely going to mess around with the 303 in the first track to try to make it settle in better, but I'm not planning on taking it out. Sorry bout it.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the 303 either. But the part at 0:50 is really interesting and could lead to something even more interesting. If I was in your shoes I would build the track around that part but without the 303 :)

Third one shows potential!

the first one is my favorite of the three. i actually really like the 303, and the really low bass hit that comes in at 20 seconds made my ceiling vibrate and was probably pleasuring my girlfriend through the floorboards.

 

i also really dig the melody that comes in at :20 in the second song. the synth timbre is quite nice, somewhat reminiscent of a boc vignette. i kind of feel like the beat is a bit heavy for that part though. maybe i'm just a pussy.

 

nice work man!

The 303 could use some tweaking, in my opinion. I'd add some sorta big, clanging, industrial melodic percussion line or something.

The tune is something I just made for fun, trying to take a break from taking music super seriously like I often do now, and while the melodies may be vapid, and the sounds are all quite cheesy, I still don't appreciate having it called "awful". Seems quite rude. Have you considered that it might just not be your cup of tea?

 

I am glad that you were able to grasp that it was supposed to be humorous, at least

I'm not sure I hear the awfulness of that last track. The snare (or whatever it is) really bothered me though, because of the volume. Too loooooud. Other than that, pretty fun. Sounds like 90's videogame music.

 

Also, too short.

Sorry Ganus, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I think that particular style of beats is awful. Just expressing taste, which is subjective.
