oooh yeah i posted the trailer in the game thread. this will probably be the 1st game i pre order in my life.

One potentially worrying aspect of DSII is there will be different directors for this game than the first two, and one of the things they've so far said is they want it more "understandable". Fans are raging already that one of the best aspects of the Souls series is the obscure, "you're on your own, mate" attitude the game has.

Personally, I want them to make it HARDER than the first two - who cares if a bunch of lightweights can't hang - go play some game that holds your hand the entire way, then.

thats part of the reason ill probably never buy one. everything i see in the Dark Souls thread is gamer jibberish.

Nah, once you get into it (and it's not hard to get into), it all makes sense. You really should play the first two.

I can understand your hesitation.... Trust me, you can do it if I can. I am HARDLY the best gamer in the world, and I was able to Platinum it on the ps3. If I can, anyone can. My wife is on her 2nd playthrough now, now that we hae the DLC (which is great). I dunno, I can rave about it all day. If you give it a chance, I think you'll see why.
