Yeah, I kind've thought that at first (the BOCish). A little long. Might be nicer as a short bit in-between tracks or something. A neat vibe is in it.

sorry about the bocish vibe, it's just what i do i guess although there are no detuned or "wobbly" synths and no voices hidden within i guess the melody may sound like boc. there definately wasnt an agenda for it.

anyone have any comments on things like production or anything? i spent a long time in post production on this song and i think that everything is mastered really well and fits together perfectly. some comments on that would be great and if anyone could tell me what they would do to it to increase positive energy that would be awesome.

it's ok, almost sounds liek a car comercial , but i felt the bass could have been thicker, mayber if you plan on taking this song more serious it could be an awesome track.

i agree with the more bass....stilll tha clarity is really well done....also its kinda long...still a pretty nice track..

oh no this is so boring and derivative, surprise. no hooks , its boards of canada basically, but you came second place, sorry but this shit is covered ground and greener pastures are found elsewhere.

I like the chord progression. I get a bit of BoC from it too, but it has its differences as well. That bass would sound great with a ton of multiband compression and/or a tube warmer on it really filling things out. Perhaps introduce some new elements as it progresses, something different from what's already there (chimey synth, maybe something with more width to it). What you've got so far is a really cool part, but it gets really monotonous after a little while, doesn't sound like a finished song yet. Add a section with a new chord progression, a key change could be effective, have a new synth sound take over part way through. It's got potential, just needs some fleshing out. I like the mood that was created off the start, take it further.

I liked it. BOC hasnt been done to death exactly.
