Jaysus, sounds really good, but what an obscure release. Hard to believe anything released by 'The Muss' on Myspace called 'monion' could be so good. I wonder could it really be RDJ? Weren't most/all of those Tuss-related Myspace profiles meant to be from/feature the music of other artists?

Yikes... This is good stuff, and I'm not even a huge fan of Tuss stuff. I'm already pretty convinced this is Richard. Plus, It's mixed really well... Who could have the time and resources to just throw up a bunch of unique, pro and intricate stuff that manages to sound very afx-like? I honestly think us watmmers take for granted that liquid-like, smooth quality and that pure acid goodness that afx and other brilliant artists manage to create. It takes a lot more skill than we imagine, and not anyone can easily just throw that kind of stuff together. These are words coming from an electronic producer, myself. I couldn't even come close to his craft.

Anyway, I want to beeeeeellllllliiiiieeeeevvveee!!!!!!!

This is generic DAW music.

The "303" is 100% a VST and he doesn't know how to make it squelch. Anyone who has spent time with an acid box (of any kind) knows what parameters make it happen and how wet and dirty it'll sound and this person doesn't know any of that.

it's so-so but it doesn't sound anything like RDJ. It sounds like so-so generic DAW music.

I mean, I'll just go on and on if you want. RDJ doesn't use bitcrushing that way.

RDJ would never be caught dead using those ambient/peripheral sounds.

The melodic sense of the pieces is pretty noob. The drums are perhaps intermediate noob.

So yeah, it's not even like a question.

Well, maybe it isn't RDJ good... and maybe I'm so desperate for a new release from him I'm willing to suspend disbelief when something like this comes along...

Also, Burial is by far my favourite producer at this point so I'm probably not such a fine connoisseur of slick productions like many watmmers...

Ouch, harsh review there limpy. I thought it was very enjoyable, even if it sounded nothing like rdj.
