obviously it's got a ways to go, but I was curious to hear people's thoughts

picture is inspiration from my walk earlier in the day

keep workin on it. sounds really cool. id like to hear a whole song like this.

reminds me of oldschool artcore jungle with the alternating pads & subs, just needs a think break and you're good to go.

draft is pretty solid as well but not too much to go on yet. In a normal case I'd be expecting some sort of melodic lead to drop after that intro, but I see you've tagged it as footwork & in my experience with footwork melodic leads are generally eschewed for samples of HATAS OUR MOTA MOTI MOTIVACHE MOTA MOT MOTIVATION

cryptowen, I did take that picture, and there's a lot more with similar atmospheres that will come with future drafts and/or when I release my second (forest themed) album, which is currently in the works.

the draft is very bare bones at the moment, so do not worry, it's not proper footwork, it's just rhythmically inspired by footwork. the final version is going to be fleshed out with melodies. In my creative process, I almost always work out the atmospheric sounds & rhythm before I write a single melody.
