rraAste - neocognitron ep

So, I put up some tracks I did last year to Bandcamp and I'm calling it the "neocognitron ep".

There you have it!

First off, artwork is great, reminds me of a suburban 90s hotline miami for some reason. As for the actual music, great. It kinda feels like the bastard child of both saws, between the pseudo-tape deck warmth, empty airport-esque ambience (tha anyone?), and overall bleepiness. I like that the more straightforward 4/4 bits (e.g. woodwerk, vyr) break in new complexities + tonalities in their latter halves. Also, Gayana sounds like a elevator shaft and the pads at the end of Liquid Sunshine are beautiful.

I love to read and hear peoples' interpretations and see how they see the same work. I never thought of the SAW connection myself but now that you said it I can kind of see where you're coming from. Might have been a subconscious influence.
