Hudson Mohawke signed to G.O.O.D. Music

Apparently, it's for the production offshoot (Very Good Beats) of G.O.O.D Music, so he's still signed as a solo artist to Warp.

"This news arrives after we previously reported that he had joined Yeezy's G.O.O.D. Music imprint based off a tweet from Mohawke's manager, Simon White.

The Glasgow native appeared on G.O.O.D. Music's debut compilation, Cruel Summer, and received production credits on tracks "To The World," "Bliss," and "The One." Additionally, Mohawke and TNGHT cohort Lunice recently sort of shared the stage with G.O.O.D. leader Kanye West, who surprised the duo during a show in New York City."

It makes sense I guess, he seems to have a split personality between his solo stuff and the production work he's been doing for Yeezy et al. Warp aren't in that scene and it makes sense for GOOD Music to support/pay for that.

Hopefully he'll drop this TNGHT shite. One good track came from it and I don't think Lunice adds anything. Some of the TNGHT stuff was just old HudMo bangers

Really though, how "signed to" mean a damn thing anymore? Everybody is on umteenth different labels at the same time. There are no big record contracts. I don't get it.
