studio monitor cables

Recommended Posts

Just don't buy the really really thinnest ones and you'll be grand (anything around 50p/metre should be fine). The cable industry is fuelled by overpriced bollocks to grab money from idiots so don't fool for it !

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

I bought the thicker gauge oxygen free cable £4ish per meter from maplins for my HHB circle 5's (8" woofer).

I found the bass and lower mids had more depth than the thinner xt speaker cable i used perviously which was more expensive from a hi-fi shop so i dont know if thickness or strands have an effect on power output/resistance.

try to keep it as short as poss and even length for both speakers, you dont need to go overboard

Ebay have good bulk deals

I've heard of that before too. Does it sound good? I've also heard of big studios using coax cable.
