My figuring is he sculpts in a concave mirror.

that is cool. He may just sculpt a normal sculpture from wax and then heat and stretch it until it looks right in the reflection. And then cast it in a different material. Or he may use 3D (which would make the whole process quite easy).

Either way, complicated or simple, the concept is pretty cool.

thats freakin sweet. it reminds me of this kid i found that makes 3d pencil drawings in an unusual way. he uses multiple sheets of paper to create multiple planes to make the art appear as if it were coming outta the page.

What strikes me is that the part of the sculpture facing away from the reflection doesn't need to be the completion of the image, but he does it anyway.
