Morning all,

I was in the pub last night and I think 75% of the crowd were on it. I'd say that most boozers round my way the same applies. It just seems to everywhere in the UK, they must be shipping in Jupiter size amounts of it.

What do you think of this drug? I'm interested in your thoughts.

I really like the effect of it, but it is a hell of a drug. When you sniff it up your nose you are in a place of total confidence and feeling good for about 20 minutes, then the paranoia comes and the only way to kill it is to make another line. It can go on like this forever, or at least until you run out of coke/money. So, to make things clear: the best drug to start using and the worst to stop using

Quite a few friends work in media/pr so it is ubiquitous. I end up doing it very, very occasionally, like once a year and usually only through sexual coercion by pr girls. They get quality stuff but I still find it a bit shit and does nothing for me. Certainly with friends there's an element of routine with it. Most people I know are happier with quality MDMA.

I've tried it once.. It was fun.

But I'm never touching it again (or any other drug for that matter).

Everyone I know who does cocaine is either complete fucking assholes and turn into even bigger assholes when taking it or manic beyond belief.

I hate it. still do it on occasion though.

ive tried normal 40 quid a gram stuff and its awful, brief high accompanied by sickness, ive also in the last year been trying this 100 quid a gram almost pure stuff thats all the rage these days, now this is more pleasant, however, any drug in which 3 people can rip through a 100 quids worth in and hour or two and gain nothing apart from a really meaningless high octane chat where you all just speak about yourselfs is definetely a dangerous and awful substance.

i only ever have it when some other person is dishing it out. thats the other thing with it, it makes you really want to share with everyone you're with, even if thats 7 people and your g only lasts 20 minutes because of that

I think some people would probably freak if they knew how much shit other than coke they were snorting. Get this, the average purity of cocaine seized at the border of the UK is 63%. At the border! By the time it has been passed on a couple of times - often multiple times - before it's finally bought by the user it will be a lot lower.

personally i think all the bleach powder adds a certain zinginess which i find quite refreshing.

the other difference between c and e is that as you go up the chain with e's, you just hit european clubber types and slightly mad chemistry types, go up the chain with charlie and you very rapidly meet some truely awful people.

For the record (because the walk hard video I posted might suggest I think otherwise) cocaine seems like a waste of time and money. And while I am not making any conclusions, it does seem more than coincidental that the baby boomer generation has been one of the more selfish and material generations while they grew up during the 80s era of cocaine. That is not a blanket term suggesting the use of cocaine or any drug conforms you to one morality or personality but that different drugs do have different cultural impact on values. Whether that stems from their economical values or chemical properties is something I don't know. But judging from anecdotal experiences that people have shared, it's affects are short lasting, it's expensive, and it's bloody hell when you run out.

being on cocaine is never as fun as anticipating doing more cocaine

then, I have limited experience in the field, but I can really say I don't like it. it makes you think you're kind of an hyper version of yourself. kinda fun, but kinda mind bending if you believe that that's the real you. so I think it's a drug-that-turns-people-into-assholes, in my opinion, and I haven't felt the need for it anymore since I tried for a few times.

but I have to say that I'm not the type of person who likes drugs, I always preferred cigarettes, coffee and alcohol, even tho I'm cutting them cos I abused of them too much.
