looking for a x0xio to buy if anyone knows of one for sale or where they can be bought. i could buy a kit but i'd probably just feck it up

Nah, I'm pretty sure those are just kits. I think the one at the top that is unavailable is the built one. They were around $1000 assembled if I remember correctly.

You could try contacting them and seeing if they would mind putting one together for you, but I'd anticipate having to pay around a grand.

i'd pay it ... sell a few bits of kit like the normal x0xbox and my akai soundhub

Possibly not the place to ask this, but how does this compare to or improve upon the x0xb0x?

its got two oscillators and adsr on filters, built in distortion ... check it out x0x on steriods

You could also consider getting a System 100 Model 101 for around that price. Same super nice acid diode filter plus a high pass filter, adsr control, PWM. The drawback is only 1 osc and no built in sequencer, no midi control, though it does have cv/gate and its patchable (plays well with euro rack I believe) and has an LFO...

Also it's very sexy.
