Do you Berlin?

So I just moved to Berlin last week. Not permanent however, just here for a few months through work. Wondering who else on watmm is about. Would be cool to meet up with some people while I'm over.

Went on holiday there for a week last year. Lovely city. Make sure you head east and get a falafel.

That's definitely a city I wouldn't mind getting stuck in for a few months. Enjoy!

I recently got my dual citizenship in germany. I sprik the doych pretty good. I want to move to germany, I'm thinking Berlin. If I go will one of u berliners help me get my shit started?

actually a friend of mine just proposed that we travel to berlin this autumn, and somehow never come back again. are there any things to do for illegal romanian immigrants around there?

yeah squat, it's still pretty big in berlin (well, "big", compared to most other areas). otherwise living there is dirt cheap compared to other parts of germany/europe, even though it's getting more and more expensive. and finding a job that will pay the rent and leave you with enough free time is definitely doable.

I thought it was perfectly legal for Romanians to live and work anywhere in the EU now?

thats the shit i was talking about. not (necesarilly) seeking for legal forms of establishment or a carrer-oriented way of life.

I'm here until end of April, maybe longer, depends on work. Been here a few times before, but this is the first time I've stayed here longer than a week. Really enjoying myself so far. Probably not my favourite city in the world, Berlin aint much to look at imo. But nice atmosphere, and plenty to do. Been pretty dead each day after work, really long days. Hope to get used to the schedule soon though, and get more stuff done in the evenings.

Anyway, yeah, liking it so far. Any recomendations?

what parts of the city still have squats/have places where one can squat? mind you I don't know what I'm talking about.
