The hacker also intercepted photos that George W. Bush e-mailed two months ago to his sister showing paintings that he was working on, including self-portraits of him showering and in a bathtub. Another image shows the former president painting at the family’s Maine retreat (his subject is St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, a historic seaside chapel down the road from the sprawling Kennebunkport compound).

with that said, i think bushs paintings are kinda bad. like, i'd rather have a caulkin

I think it's sad someone hacked his account to release personal stuff like this. Like Luke siad, if it had some political context I might have some understanding. But this is just really sad.

it's not his reflection, its the viewer's reflections given the angle of the mirror, quite brilliant actually.

think he needs a lesson on perspective. also he has back-tits.

The dog one is not bad.

It's so not bad, it looks like it has been made by someone completely different!

Perhaps it's one of those "color field with number x paint" paintings

oh wow. The shower/bath ones are interesting. The weird perspective/clumsy handling of paint is really endearing. Love the texture of the soap on his head! i would like to see more. The dog picture is the most accomplished but probably the least interesting to me.

Kennebunkport is overrun by old rich white men, but it's also beautiful. I was there back in September. Took a lot of pics around the area.

Don't know how you can paint yourself in a shower and not geek out on all these fucked up natural textures and contrasts, but, hey, he's trying

his talent was wasted on the presidency.

I like the shower, seems like something a Patrick Bateman type would paint.
