are Chinese kites IDM?

Celebrating Chinese New Year today with some family, flying beautiful Chinese kites with the kids, cold beers and MBV playing on the boom box. I must say it feels IDM to get pleasure from something as green as wind power.

I came into this thread expecting pictures of IDM kites... Disappointed.
