Tell me a story

Talk about something worth hearing about that happened in your life. A good story - something interesting.

when I was 15 I was at a borders books by myself after school or something and I was just sitting on the floor at the magazine stands reading a computer magazine. fast forward several months or maybe a year and I'm channel flipping at home and I see a "coming up next on Hardcopy" preview advert and the headline was something about children left alone at shopping centers risk kidnapping and to my amazement they showed a 2 or 3 second clip of me sitting there at the borders books reading a magazine. I watched the full show and saw the clip again and even taped it however I didn't label it and it got shuffled around somewhere or lost. years later I noticed a small hole in the ceiling where a camera might have been which would have matched the perspective so I asked the manager if they ever sold footage from those things to TV shows and he flat out denied that something like that ever could have happened.

i was given a black and decker power drill set for christmas by my brother, but i didnt want it, so i sold it on. next christmas, i was given back the exact same black and decker, but without the cable.

On Valentine's day, I drank half a bottle of whiskey and went out. When I got to the third bar, it was around midnight. I was locking up my bike out front, and then up pulls a cab. A woman got out and asked me if I had a cigarette. I said "No, but we can probably find you one!" So I hooked my arm through hers all gentlemen-like and led her inside. We played the most horrendously drunk game of pool we could muster then went back to her place. In the morning, she couldn't find her phone so she had me call it. I'm still wondering if that was a ploy to get my number.
