I can't seem to play this EP loud enough now. Maybe it is all the sentimal value I have that is attached to it, but If I could have only one album to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be this one. I don't even need the whole album either.. just give me Goz Quarter ...from 4:55 on.. on loop. Forever.

I forgot to mention that I love exai and I am also pretty drunk. Please pardon/lock my post. I don't mean to shit on anyone's favorite albums as I know it's all subjective bla bla but I was listening to Envane while going through some pretty tough times in my life. I just doubt that 5 years from now, exai will evoke the same feelings. I guess that makes sense though.

Goz Quarter is sooooo good.

Envane would be my favourite EP. But Chiastic is like Envane x 2, so even better. Exai is even better still.

I'm still listening to Exai heavily though.

Envane and chiclisuite for that matter is some of the bestest Ae but don't be dissing EXai! Am still rinsing it and still loving it more and more will defo be 1 of my fav releases me thinks

I had exactly the same feeling when I first listened to Exai, was kind of let down and thought : "Ae did better in the 36 minutes of Envane than they did in the 2h of Exai, or even than they did in their entire career". It's really the sum of everything I like about Autechre, probably my most listened-to released, and I never get tired of it.

But then Exai grew on me of course...
