Edit: by a bit off i mean the drums seem to stick out too much if i listen on speakers away from my studio set-up.

Feels like a throwback to Squarepusher's early work, especially from the Hard Normal Daddy to Big Loada "era". Stupid question, but are you a fan by chance?

The only thing I'd suggest is to simply extend the length of your track by maybe two minutes. It feels like it's begging for more overall length.

nice track, love the beats, but IMHO the synth sound can be better, the brass sounds little bit weak in the begining, the lead (the one like 303) doesn't sound right in the track, it is too bright to me, my 0.02.

I do intend to finish it off :) how strange, i have actually been working my way through old squarepusher recently on my commute. Feed me weird things, chaos ad and selection 16. Didn't realise it was obvious in this track though, i didnt mean it to sound anything like that!

Cheers for listening. Synth cant be changed now, the display on the synth i used is busted so its a right pain in the arse to save patches. i like the 303 bit haha!

The brass in the beginning ain't so bad - sounds more 80s tho'. Is that an Ensoniq ?

I love the subtle reso-synth that comes in after the brass. Did you build that patch ?

Yeah, both sounds are from the mks-70, at the same time

I agree the 303 line is a little harsh on the ears. I probably would knock the resonance off just a little bit. Great tune though love the chords ... really appeal to me. Beat is cool too. Good job!
